Byron Bay is a unique small town & though things have become a bit more up-market in recent times, some aspects (like the local markets) retain some of the vibe of an earlier Byron Bay.
One thing is certain: Byron is home to the most beautiful beaches in Australia. From patrolled Main Beach, to family orientated Clarks to the surfer at The Pass & the vast, sandy dunes of Tallow. You can also explore the seas by surfing, diving, snorkelling or taking a kayak out to see our wonderful marine life, including turtles, dolphins & all kinds of fish.
Nature lovers who want to stay on land will also enjoy discovering the beauty of the hinterland with activities like bush-walking & mountain biking or take advantage of scenic local walks, like the hike to Mount Warning & the popular walk up to Cape Byron Lighthouse through Wategos beach for stunning views of the beaches on either side of the point. Or if you prefer, you can take to the skies & experience the scenery from the air, hang gliding or ballooning.
If you just want to relax & unwind, you’ll find lots of pampering day spas offering treatments from facials to yoga classes – there’s a global influence ranging from Balinese day spas to Thai massages to Hawaiian Kahuna Bodywork & Zen Shiatsu.
Whatever it is you’d like to do in Byron, we are more than happy to help you with information & reservations.
With fine dining within walking distance, there’s no need to leave Byron Bay for delectable cuisine. There’s everything from French & Asian fusion to steakhouses & of course, plenty of fantastic seafood.
Byron Bay also has a plethora of healthy vegetarian & organic food stores, cafes & restaurants.
Or if you want to enjoy a quiet night in, you can always just grab some take-out: there’s everything from fish & chips to gourmet pizza, chinese & mexican.
